Sports medicine includes physical fitness, treatments and prevention of injuries relating to sport and physical activity.

Your GP can assist in diagnosing and co-ordinating the management of sporting injuries along with pain management and specialist referrals when required.

Musculoskeletal injuries are a range of common injuries that occur during physical activity & sport. Musculoskeletal injuries affect bones, muscles, joints & connective tissues. Musculoskeletal injuries include: fractures, rotator cuff, epicondylitis, trigger finger, muscle strains & back injuries.
